Tonnara di Scopello is one of Sicily’s most recognisable coastal venues, set directly on the water with historic architecture, rustic courtyards, dramatic sea views, and an unmistakable Mediterranean atmosphere. Once connected to the island’s tuna-fishing tradition, the venue now offers a deeply authentic setting for symbolic ceremonies, aperitifs, outdoor dinners, and evening celebrations by the sea. Limited onsite apartments are available, with additional accommodation in Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo. Guest capacity, accommodation availability, and catering arrangements should be confirmed directly for each event. In practice: up to 300 guests outdoors, 80 to 100 in the indoor halls if the weather turns. Music runs until two in the morning. Accommodation is unusual here — fifteen houses sleeping up to fifty-five guests, so the whole party stays inside the tonnara itself. Catering is external, rice and open flame are allowed, and Palermo is the nearest airport. Bookings run by the weekend rather than the day.
